Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Company

Victor Manufacturing Limited are a long-established supplier to the hospitality industry. Operating for over 75 years, from within West Yorkshire, we are a family owned and operated manufacturer of catering equipment & servery counters, supplying a number of prestigious clients both nationally and internationally.

The Role

We require a reliable, focused and career driven individual to join our Technical department in the role of Graduate Design Engineer.
You will be a good communicator, have good experience with CAD and preferably some design related qualification/s.

Key Responsibilities

·To work alongside our technical department in a trainee role to assist with the creation of quality commercial catering equipment designs, supported by technical information, that ensure the resultant Victor Manufacturing products meet customers’ expectations and are manufactured cost effectively.

·To proactively engage with colleagues, industry partners and other stakeholders to ensure this and future projects are completed in a professional and timely manner.

·To collect and develop a practical understanding of specific aspects of food catering display systems and apply such knowledge to support the technical departments work.

Specific Duties

1.Design ‘Engineer-to-Order’ special products in accordance with customer specifications.

2.Improve designs of existing products.

3.The introduction of new products into mainstream production.

4.Assist in improvements to our manufacturing and assembly processes.

5.Process design modifications of parts.

7.Perform other duties relevant to the post.

Experience with CAD – Essential
Design related qualification/s – Essential
Experience in manufacturing – Desirable

Hours of Employment

7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
7:30am - 3:00pm (Friday)
